Breast Cancer Care provides services for people affected by breast cancer are there to offer support and information when you need it.

If you have just been diagnosed, are having treatment or know someone who is living with breast cancer, it can help to talk to someone who understands.

Whether you want to gain support from sharing experiences and meeting others in a similar situation, or need help to find your way through the maze of information available on breast cancer, we can help.

Whatever your concern, big or small, our telephone support services are there to offer a skilled ear and understanding in total confidence.

The helpline receives calls from people in many different situations and backgrounds, including:
women and men with breast cancer or breast health concerns
friends, relatives, partners and children of people with breast cancer
health professionals.

Our helpline team has an excellent knowledge of breast cancer issues and receives daily updates on new developments in the field. The team comes from a variety of backgrounds, so callers get to talk to someone who has an understanding of the issues they are facing. They are able to talk about both the medical and emotional issues surrounding breast cancer and breast health and run through the complexities of different treatments to help you understand your options.

How Frustrated Communication found Breast Cancer Care -

Following our Trustee, Pat's diagnosis with breast cancer in 2006, her doctor suggested ringing Breast Cancer Care. Since that point we have found their service to be excellent and extremely efficient. The information provided has been useful and Helpline and support staff have been helpful and friendly.

In 2009, 2010 and 2011 we have provided funds to support Breast Cancer Care's award winning Helpline.
